DMK Enzyme Facial Picture
With the many product lines and treatments I have used in practice over the years, its rare to find one as interesting and unique as DMK Enzyme Facial.

Since the first facial I had with glycolic acid, I have been pursuing the finest products and treatments geared towards exfoliating the skin to achieve a renewed, healthy complexion. It just made sense to me, remove dead skin on the surface to reveal a new, fresher visage. Presto! You look younger with an immediate glow and smoother texture. Over the years I have come to understand that chemical peels and removal of dead skin can only take you so far. If you want real, long term change in the skin you must employ a much broader treatment plan. Internal nutrition with dietary changes and supplements are a big part of healthy aging in my opinion. It is this understanding that ultimately led me on the search to find treatments and products that would repair and correct malfunctions in the skin caused by stress, sun exposure, and poor diet choices.

Enter DMK. The signature treatment Enzyme #1 is very different from any "facial" I have had performed on my skin or professionally administered to clients. After my first treatment I realized why this product has been used in Europe and Australia for years. Its so much more than exfoliation. Enzyme therapy goes beyond the surface to trigger an enzymatic reaction which oxygenates the skin tissue by way of fresh blood circulation (pictured above) and lymph drainage. The best part for me was feeling the pulsing of my face, neck and upper chest region. It felt very tight yet soothing, almost like a cocoon around my skin. Afterward my skin continued to improve over the next week. The small breakouts in my beard area vanished within a day, my skin felt less puffy with a more even tone and my pores on my nose seemed reduced. My skin continued to improve with the use of the DMK home prescriptives.

DMK's philosophy is Remove, Rebuild, Protect, Maintain. Exfoliation (Remove) is only one part of that philosophy and the real change comes when you Rebuild the internal functions and structures of the skin. I like the analogy of the skin as a factory, whatever condition is presented on the surface of the skin (Acne, dryness, brown spots, sagging skin) is a direct result of that factory. The therapist must first correct any malfunctions within that factory before it will produce visible long term changes on the surface of the skin. For the past 40 years DMK has been training doctors and estheticians to utilize Enzyme Therapy to revise the skin into a healthier, more balanced state.
